Raise funds for the student bursary without spending a penny

Raise funds for City Lit student bursary You now don't have to spend anything to raise funds for the City Lit student bursary. Easy fundraising lets you raise money for us without spending a penny. Featured retailers include M&S, Habitat, Amazon and Ebay.  You can raise funds by accessing your regular online shopping websites through the Easy fundraising website (and a donation will be made when you make a purchase) or you can click on the 'FREE FUNDS' tab, and raise money for us by signing up the newsletters and free trials.

Your donations will go direct to City Lit’s student bursary fund. The bursary was set up in 2007 to ensure that, in the current economic climate, no-one is excluded from learning. It is here to help adults experiencing financial difficulties to enjoy the many opportunities learning can bring. For some students – including those who might benefit most from attending – the bursary can help with course fees, books and materials. It is particularly aimed at students who wish to study courses for vocational reasons or to help transform their lives.

One student benefitting from the bursary fund said: “Going to City Lit has given me that rarest commodity – hope. I was made redundant in the beginning of 2008. Going back to study has made a huge difference to me, it is so exciting to be learning, moving forward and being active. Without the student bursary, it would not have been possible.”
