You never know what you might learn at a 'Curious course'. It's an opportunity to try something new, discover a talent you didn't know you had, or just to have fun and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. The course is only revealed on the night. Perhaps your talent will be too.
Move over George Formby - February's 'Curious course'
On February's 'Curious course', brave participants learned to play the Ukulele by musician Jake Rodriguez (who has actually jammed with George Harrison!).
But it wasn't all about George Formy songs, these new ukulele performers were learning The Clash hit I Fought The Law, and Village People's YMCA. By the end of the course, the class were able to do chord progressions and even managed to fit in a few dance moves in to their performance.
Ella Foote who won two tickets for the course, said: "We both had a great time and it was a great start to the week."
Londoners who braved last month's 'Curious course' were rewarded with a sculpture lesson with award-winning sculptor Alex Harley. Participants brought along images of cherished people (and pets!) and created reliefs of them in clay. You can view the complete gallery on Facebook.
Kyly Bird, one of the brave participants, said: "What can I say?! I just had the best time at your curious course last week. I was very surprised to find out that we would be sculpting, and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. It was such a relaxing and rewarding class and gave me plenty of time to get to know the other attendees and to just enjoy myself. Alex is also a great teacher!"
