As well as teaching days you will complete a placement in a relevant setting. Applications are encouraged from learners who have used support services or have experienced homelessness and are ready to progress to employment.

Do you want to progress into supervisory or specialised roles in an early years setting? Achieve the industry standard qualification here, through a supportive mix of classroom learning and workplace assessment. If you are aged 24 or over you can apply to the Student Loans Company to fund the majority of your course fees. If you are aged 24 or over at the start of the course you can now apply for a government loan to help cover the costs. The course cost is £2882 which you can finance with a mix of loan and upfront fees, with a minimum upfront fee of £200 payable. Or if you are on certain benefits then a minimum upfront fee of £100. If aged under 24 then you’ll pay the full or conc fee listed below depending on your circumstances. If you think you will experience difficulties paying the upfront fee, you can talk to our IAG team who will advise you on instalment plans and bursaries.
