Learner support fund grant


To be eligible you must be one of the following:

• A concessionary fee payer or have a low income (if you are a single person household you need to show evidence that you earn less than £160 per week or if you are a couple you must show evidence that your household income is less than £15,276 per year)

What we give grants for:

• Travel costs: A contribution towards travel costs.

• Books /Materials: These will be pre-determined by the department that runs your course.

• Examination fees: If your course requires you to take an exam City Lit will pay the examination fee. This must be arranged before you enrol.

We will not give grants for:

• Tuition fees
• One/Two day courses
