Learner support fund loan

If you are unable to pay your course fee upfront there are two types of loan available:
  • A loan for a course fee under £80: this can be arranged in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments. These will need to be repaid in person at the enrolment counter or over the phone with a debit/credit card.
  • A loan for a course fee over £80: we will take your debit/ credit card details which we take out on a date agreed during the term/ course.  
The full amount of the loan will have to be repaid before the end of the course. We can only provide a loan for courses that run for more than three weeks. We cannot provide loans to international students. To apply for a loan, please visit the Information and Advice Shop. Loans cannot be arranged over the phone.
