The City Lit Awards took place on Thursday 25 October, celebrating the outstanding work and achievements of various students and staff from across the college, as well as the transformation adult learning can bring. Winners were selected by our judging panel from a longlist of nominations from across the City Lit community.

We were delighted to be joined by our guest of honour The Rt David Lammy MP, who presented award winners with their certificates and received his City Lit Lifetime Fellowship Award.

City Lit Executive Director of External Engagement, Phil Chamberlain, back by popular demand, was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. City Lit Principal Mark Malcomson CBE and Chair of the Board of Governors Dame Moira Gibb made speeches on the night. Winners were joined by friends and family members in the audience to watch them receive their awards, and the event was followed by a drinks reception.
