City Lit Digital Arts tutor reveals her latest illustrations

Story added 23rd Mar 2017

Alice Stevenson (Digital Arts tutor) has been busy working on illustrations for book covers and we would like to share her achievements with you. Alice talks about her latest set of illustrations below.

"I've been busy illustrating lots of book covers, I was delighted to be commissioned to illustrate the cover of Nadiya Hussain's debut novel "The Secret Life of the Amir Sisters" for Harlequin. I also had a lovely time drawing bougainvillea and binoculars for the cover of "The Woman Next Door" by Yewande Omotoso, published by Vintage.

It's always nice to be asked to work with the same author twice. Following on from the success of The "Canal Boat Cafe", I illustrated Cressida McLaughlin's new e-book series "The Once in a Blue Moon Guesthouse", for Harper Collins.

I've also created some additional covers for Penguin India Classics; I think these three titles are particularly pertinent in these strange times. You can view the rest of the series here. Thank you for reading and have a fabulous thursday!"
