The 2017-18 Student Panel at City Lit

Keen to make sure your voice is heard at City Lit?

We're looking for volunteers to join our student panel and help us improve the student experience at City Lit.

Apply by Sunday 26th November 2017 for your chance to join the panel.

What does the panel do?

The student panel is a focus group. It meets with staff to discuss aspects of the student experience at City Lit.

Understanding the student panel’s experience will help us improve the quality of our courses, college spaces, how we communicate with students and the service that we offer.

What do City Lit expect from panel members?

We expect panel members to:

- attend all three student panel meetings.

- be prepared to discuss their experience of City Lit at the panel meetings and take part in activities.

- act as ambassadors for City Lit and talk about their experience as a City Lit student at events such as fundraisers or in interviews.

Student panel - what our panelists say

“It's a great opportunity to contribute to how changes are made at City Lit. It's fun to take part in a group and share your thoughts and ideas. Joining the panel really encouraged me to continue with my studies too.”

“I would say you get to feel a part of the decision making process when it comes to college actions. A chance to develop more skills like communication and team work. An overall enjoyable experience where everyone is valued.”

“A great way to feel part of the college and how it's working for students. Always a warm reception, really interesting and full of passionate, intelligent and caring people (both students and staff). Totally recommend being part of the student panel!”
