Learning Disability Pride is a new initiative led by Gary Bourlet, a recent City Lit lifetime fellow and co-founder of Learning Disability England. It is an opportunity to raise awareness of learning disability communities in the UK and highlight the abilities and achievements of adults with learning disabilities. Our event at the Royal Academy of Music in the David Josefowitz Recital Hall will celebrate the inclusivity of Percussion Orchestra a collaboration of musicians with learning disabilities working creatively with Royal Academy of Music students to inspire a mainstream audience.

Percussion Orchestra have devised an evening called Music is a Place, performing recent and new compositions for your listening pleasure.
