Our Piano Repertoire students, coached by Petros Moschos, were due to perform their fourth recital at The Foundling Museum this month so instead they and The Foundling Museum have put together a fantastic video to share their performances with you.

Mozart – Sonata in B flat K570, ‘Allegro’, performed by Kevin Richardson

Brahms – Albumblatt in A minor, performed by Jane Evans

Brahms – Intermezzo in E major Op.116 no.4, performed by Karen Bowman

Brahms – Intermezzo in E major Op.116 no.6, performed by Anne Dobson

Brahms – Intermezzo in B flat minor Op.117 no.2, performed by Carolyn Howe

Schubert – Sonata in B flat major D960, ‘Scherzo’, performed by Peter Richardson

Piano Repertoire courses at City Lit are weekly classes for advanced pianists (post Grade 8 standard) who meet to explore the wealth of piano repertoire, concentrating on style and period. Each term they study two or three composers ranging from the baroque-period to contemporary, or a multi-movement work; and give frequent performances at Southwark Cathedral, St Paul’s Covent Garden and the City Lit lunchtime recital series. This is their fourth recital at The Foundling Museum. The students are coached by Petros Moschos.
