'Us as Nature'- a talk by Japanese artist, Misa Gott

Misa Gott is an artist printmaker born and brought up on the outskirts of Tokyo. She produces intricate images by cutting, layering and overprinting multiple individual monotype prints.

The starting point is always her relationship with nature, one that was forged in Japan where the natural world is woven into the fabric of daily life.

Misa describes her work as visual Haiku poems that celebrate the elusiveness and transiency of nature; their simplicity belying the complexities involved in their craft and production.

Come along and enjoy a glass of wine and learn how a Japanese artist living in London draws on her cultural heritage to create her inspiring work.

After the talk, there will be the chance to ask Misa questions about her work and influences.

Date: Wed 27 March 2019

Time: 7pm -8.30pm

Tickets are £10 and available via Eventbrite.
