Following the success of Bollywood 'Twelfth Night', where we saw dancing in the aisles, the City Lit Theatre Company presents a new version of one of William Shakeapeare's most popular plays 'The Winter’s Tale' - edited and directed by Petina Hapgood.

This electrifying version of “The Winter’s Tale” begins in the bleak mid-winter.  The story than rages across Europe, from court to country, from high tragedy to low comedy, across a time span of sixteen years. A fast-moving, action packed production, with atmospheric winter music.  A modern-day fairytale - a story of jealousy and paranoia but ultimately of redemption and joyous voices joined in winter song.
