We want you to feel that we are a safe pair of hands. We have won many awards since we were founded almost a century ago in 1919.
What we are most proud of is the positive feedback from our students and customers: 98% of City Lit students rate us as excellent, very good or good - it's why so many of our students come back to City Lit year after year.
Our most recent awards:
- Ofsted: Outstanding Provider in all areas for the college, 2023.
- Signature Hall of Fame 2022: City Lit's Centre for Deaf Education secured a place in the Signature Hall of Fame for its century long commitment to Deaf Education.
- Mayor of London Adult Learning Awards 2022: City Lit was recognised in 3 categories including: Inclusive Providor of Adult Education, Learning for Personal Progession and Highly Commended Inspiration Tutor.
- Festival of Learning 2019: Presidents Award Winner 2019 - City Lit and Tutor Award Winner 2019 - Fiona Pickett
- Queen's Anniversary Prize: awarded for our world-class speech therapy programme, 2007
- Matrix accreditation: the quality standard for our advice and guidance service

During its Centenary year in 2019, City Lit won two awards at the Festival of Learning Awards: Presidents Award Winner 2019 - City Lit and Tutor Award Winner 2019 - Fiona Pickett.
