You will learn to develop a range of printmaking techniques through practice and experimentation.
You will be encouraged to explore use of colour, tone and surface textures in combination for producing work. Particularly via varied monotype techniques, screen-printing and etching/ intaglio plate work.
What will we cover?

Demonstrations and personal application of different aspects of the media will be offered as you advance in
knowledge and competence.
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
The course fee covers basic materials such as inks, a standard quality paper and general communal workshop materials.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
The Contemporary Printmaking studio courses run each term, so you may wish to repeat this multi- level course several times in order to develop your practice or perhaps focus on one technique or process.
