This is a public performance group for students with experience of acting and drama. Work on an original play, develop a script, play a character, explore emotions. Produce a play and perform your play to an audience.

What is the course about?

You will develop a social realist play based on a theme relevant to learning disabilities for public performance.

Playing different characters
Performance skills
Producing a performance.

Workshop the parts in a play
Work as a team
Participate in a public performance

You will negotiate with the tutor more specific outcomes, based on the above, to suit your ability and experience.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

The course is for students with learning disabilities with an ability in drama and acting.
