What is the course about?
The reality of becoming a professional actor is far more demanding than many people realise. This course focuses
largely on how to market yourself as a professional actor and how to maintain a career in this business. Developing
an entrepreneurial attitude as an actor will help you get more, and better, work. We will focus on the most important issue: making a living. We aim to harness the skills you already have to develop employment opportunities for you.
What will we cover?
Keeping an income coming in at all times
Applying for acting work yourself and being proactive
Marketing yourself in a natural, non-pushy way
Effective and enjoyable networking: building professional relationships
Tax and being self employed
Other employment opportunities that exist for actors that will fit in with auditions and your acting work
Business basics: showcasing your work online, contracts, using social media for business
Building resilience and motivation to see you through any tough times
Planning for success.
Please note that acting classes by their very nature can involve exercises and the exploration of material that some students may find challenging.

Start putting your acting career plan into action.
