  4. Glaze technology: exploring materials, making and modifying glazes

    This course combines theory with practice to give you an understanding of what a glaze is and how glazes work. You will be introduced to ceramic raw materials, discover how they combine to create glazes and learn the difference between shiny, satin and matte glazes. You will learn how to plan and carry out glaze testing programmes to colour and modify a glaze and to develop your own glazes.
