Jewellery Courses in London

Whether you would like to explore jewellery making as a beginner, train to become a jeweller or develop your professional skills, we offer a wide range of jewellery courses to choose from.

All of our courses are taught by a team of qualified, specialist tutors in our fully equipped jewellery studio at our Keeley street site in central London. Our custom-built jewellery studio enables you to learn using quality, industry standard equipment within a creative environment. This includes access to machining, casting, enamelling, polishing, laser cutting and 3D printing technology in our state-of-the-art Digital and Design Lab.

Our one-to-one teaching approach and small class sizes will help you to quickly develop your technical skills and enable you to experiment with different materials and techniques. Industry and cultural visits are also included in some of our courses and we offer opportunities to exhibit your work both on and off site.

    Gypsy setting, often called flush setting is a technique to set a small round and brilliant cut faceted stone on a metal surface. On this course you will be introduced to the principles and applications of this versatile technique, including making your own bespoke setting tools.

  3. Jewellery: raising repousee and fold-forming
    Evening
    Course start date:  Fri 12 Nov 2021

    Location on this date:  KS - Keeley Street

    Learn the traditional technique of repousse (pushed metal) and fold forming. You will learn the basics of this traditional hammering method and explore the use of single and multiple folds in sheet metal to help you create your own 3-dimensional forms. Emphasis will be on experimentation of the demonstrated techniques with copper, as the organic processes create a wide variety of unique results.

  4. Introduction to etching for jewellers
