The worlds of mindfulness and art are converging in new and exciting ways; mindfulness practice can develop reflection, concentration and self-examination leading to creative clarity through the pleasure of being present and aware.
Mindfulness exercises are not only useful for stress-reduction but can also support new ways of seeing and stimulate new directions, encouraging a deeper connection with ourselves and the world around us and help to overcome obstacles to creativity such as the pressure for perfection, lack of confidence, self-doubt, and creative block.
These courses allow some personal time out, to reset and focus combining meditation with simple drawing and painting exercises that explore perception, flow and instinct as part of the creative process. We also offer courses that spark idea generation and creativity through playful mark making and experimentation with materials. These approaches help you to access, develop and sustain your imagination and to find ways of expressing yourself with increased freedom and confidence.
