You will be able to realise a personal project with guidance from the tutor. The course enables experimentation, research and the consolidation of technical skills. You can work using autographic, photographic or text based imagery using the processes listed below. Explorations can encompass wall based work, artist books or 3d dimensional outcomes.

- Japanese woodcut printmaking projectsCourse Date: Thu 30 Sep 2021
Location on this date: KS - Keeley StreetThis is an all-day Japanese Woodcut class spread over seven weeks. The course is designed to take the student rom an introduction to the process, designing, carving and creating their own multi-coloured prints but also allowing for the more experienced student to develop their own projects in greater depth, researching and contextualising Japanese Woodcut into their own art practice. All students are encouraged to do their own research that is shared with the group promoting a lively, friendly and supportive studio environment.
The process is water based, non-toxic and handmade with a small outlay this is a technique that can easily be
practised at home. The tutor trained in Japan, learning the technique from Japanese sensei on a residency
