We offer masterclasses in specific and experimental dye and print techniques such as natural dyeing, silk screen printing, printing with dyes… for learners wishing to leave with armfuls of samples. Our classes provide a comprehensive overview of processes from start to finish, leaving you with a thorough understanding of the technique and bundles of ideas for how to develop your ideas further.
Fully Health and Safety compliant, our tutors ensure your safety from the moment you step into the studio. Aprons, gloves, masks are all provided and small class sizes ensure our tutors can monitor individual progress.

A short course for beginners. Learn how to use simple collage to develop a digital textile design for a printed scarf. Scan your design before using Photoshop to refine and sharpen your image. Print your image using the sublimation printer and transfer onto your chosen fabric. All materials provided.
Produce your own indigo hand dyed fabrics using pleating, stitch and wrapping methods. Explore the magical combination of indigo dye and shibori resist techniques.
Investigate the different ways wax can be used on paper and fabric; create surface decoration using a range of resist techniques or alter the structure of a surface and experiment with translucency, structure and stitch.
Dip into colour, and learn a range of dye techniques. Using indigo, synthetic and natural dyes to practise dyeing a variety of natural fabrics. You will finish the course with a unique collection of dye samples.
