Photography Courses in London

From photography for complete beginners to specialist courses and subject based classes, we offer a wide range of photography courses taught both in our designated photography studio and off-site.

Learn and develop a range of photographic skills within a professional surrounding with a studio that offers a large open and flexible space, suitable for both collaborative and individual learning. Students will have access to the latest professional resources including a complete lighting rig and back drops and array of digital cameras including DSLRs. .

Students studying photography at City Lit will use Apple MacBook pros with the latest Adobe CC and camera editing software to help with final edits, making sure our students leave with professional images. Taught by our specialist team of freelance and industry professionals, students will receive expert hands on guidance in the skills required in taking professional photographs and beyond.

City Lit photography: stage 1 kicks of a yearlong course that offers both knowledge and practical experience within photography, exploring various contexts and the background of its many genres. Try out and develop new skills in industry software and gain the confidence and skills required to plan, shoot and edit your own photography project. City Lit photography: stage 1 is the first of the two stage course, enabling you to build a comprehensive and exciting portfolio of photographic work.
