Monoprinting, Mixed Media & Miscellaneous Art Courses in London

A lot of art practice is about ideas generation, and what better way than making monoprints. A brilliant introduction to printmaking moving from drawing into print that can offer a combination of results with mixed media techniques such as collage and hand torn stencils. These hugely creative processes continually delight and inspire with quick results. Explore into longer term ways that non -editioned printmaking methods can feed your ideas and practice. Mixed media approaches really allow you to unleash yourself in the printmaking studio, taking inspiration from a range of sources and approaches. We also offer print archive visits aimed to support students’ research and understanding the history of printmaking.

    Laser-cut is a way to engrave intricate hand drawn designs, photographic imagery or text into plywood blocks, which you will then take into printmaking. This course combines digital and traditional print processes to offer a new take on the art of woodcut.
