Have you always wanted to get your hands on clay and explore ways of making? Familiarise yourself with the properties and processes of clay by shaping your ideas and working with techniques such as coiling, pinching and slab building on this introductory course.

Realise your personal project in 3D. Come with an idea and you will be supported through your making to a final piece. Learn how to structure your idea from inspiration to reality. Ideal for students with previous experience or students who may need extra workshop time and guidance to complete a project.

On this 5 week explorative course, you will delve into ideas of sustainable and creative ceramic practice by using foraged and found materials. You will be taught practical skills on how to identify, gather and use natural resources; as ceramic ingredients and surface finishes.
