Get inspired by our range of sculpture courses, which take place in our specialist sculpture studio in the heart of London. From wood or stone carving, to sculpting in metal, bronze, wire or plaster.   3. Introduction to sculpting with wax

    Explore the versatility of wax as a sculptural material, by melting, joining and carving it to create a small wax relief sculpture. This course is perfect for both beginners and those wishing to refresh their skills. You will be guided through the sculptural techniques by a tutor who is a specialist in this area.



    Your finished green wax relief sculpture can be kept, or you can join one of our mould making and casting courses to transform your sculpture into another material, for example bronze, pewter or Jesmonite. Please see the course outline below for more details.

  4. Introduction to casting and mould making

    Break the mould - try your hand at the techniques of mould making and casting as practised by sculptors, prop-makers and designers. Under the guidance of highly experienced industry professionals in our fully equipped sculpture studio, explore making plaster and rubber moulds. Then learn how to cast from them in plaster of Paris and cement.

  5. Surface finishes for clay and plaster

    Sculptures are not always glazed, explore and experiment different mediums to patina your terracotta or stoneware clay or plaster artworks. Compare bronze powder V bronze filler or shellac and pigments, graphite, inks, acrylic or oil paint or waxes.
