Our Artist Talks provide you with an opportunity to engage with a range of selected visual presentations and conversations with tutors on a number of themes, including their own artistic and professional backgrounds. Find out about selected themes, what inspires and influences their own ideas and how their creative practice is influential in their courses and teaching at City Lit.

Delivered both online and in-person throughout the academic year, these highly insightful and influential talks will inspire your next creative adventure.

    Join us as artist and curator Simon Poulter speaks about his present focus - a series of paintings and online works documenting the ‘New Normal’. Recent work has included three large scale commissions working with Mutiny, as part of the University of East Anglia’s Future and Formprogramme. Mutiny is about to undertake a large scale commission in 2022/23 for Hull City Council, developing a digital platform and new work for the Old Town.
