Do you want to make films? Whether you want to make documentaries, dramas, training or infotainment videos, experimental or fine art film installations, video blogs or Instagram posts, we have the video or filmmaking course to suit your needs. You will be guided through all the processes and techniques from pre-production, filming and recording sound, video editing through to rendering your own finished film.

HD camcorders, DSLR cameras, smart phones and tablets are all used in contemporary filmmaking practice and we offer different courses specialising in these different recording devices.

Whether you're a beginner, or you would like to advance your current knowledge, our part-time courses delivered by expert tutors and film practitioners could be exactly what you're looking for. Our courses are offered during the evenings, daytime and weekends.

    Curious about contemporary approaches to filmmaking?



    Whether you have previously attended film or art related courses or simply have an interest in exploring a variety of experimental methods, this course will transform your practice.



    With an emphasis on interdisciplinary fields including animation, performance, installation and sound, the course will examine multiple applications within expanded experimental film practice.



    Through discussions, workshops, and personal projects, and by utilising a wide range of techniques, participants will gain the knowledge and practical skills necessary to create innovative and challenging artworks.
