  4. Watercolour painting studio: urban landscapes

    You will be introduced to watercolour mixing and mark making in relation to painting the urban environment.   7. Introduction to stone setting: raised grain setting

    Grain setting, sometimes referred to as bead setting, is a technique where small faceted stones are held in place by small prongs called beads. These are raised from the metal in the band using an engraving tool. This specialist technique builds on the basic stone setting methods, introducing the use of a new set of tools and skills and is perfect for those wishing to take their stone-setting to a higher level.

  8. A short introduction to stop motion animation

    Learn how to do traditional model armature puppet animation and plasticine animation. On this practical course you will learn the principles of animation and apply them to the puppet sequences produced during the sessions. You will be introduced to some examples of professional puppets used on broadcast TV and, using professional equipment you will learn how to use timing and performance to create dynamic animations.
