Our range of part-time, weekend and evening art and design classes are taught by successful artists and practitioners to ensure you get the skills, knowledge and experience you want and deserve. From experimental painting and drawing to contemporary jewellery making, there is sure to be a course for you. Study from 1 day to 2 years, whether you are a complete beginner or a practising artist preparing for an MA. Our courses are designed with you in mind, so you get to spend more time doing what you love.

Learn in the centre of London with our in-person courses. Our purpose-built facilities in Covent Garden mean we are ideally located and easy to get to.

    Explore the role of the imagination in painting and drawing. Develop a toolkit of methods for stimulating, sustaining and enriching your imaginative engagement through a series of guided practical painting and drawing exercises. The aim of the course is to investigate the role of the imagination in drawing and painting and to explore new ways of seeing and experiencing the world around us.

  3. Drawing: a contemporary approach

For intermediate students with some drawing experience who would like to explore experimental drawing techniques and develop their own ideas in drawing.   4. Watercolour painting studio: urban landscapes

    Build your confidence and skills in outdoor watercolour painting in a variety of central London locations. You will be introduced to watercolour mixing and mark making in relation to painting the urban landscape. This course can be seen as a refresher or for students who have had a minimum amount of watercolour experience.

  5. Mindfulness sketchbook walk

  6. Painting: oil techniques and mediums

    Oil paint is a luscious medium with a long historical tradition. It is capable of heavy impasto effects and delicate transparent colour films. Working practically, in the studio, this course will expand your understanding of approaches to building a variety of surfaces in your paint working with mediums and expanding your use of texture and glazing.

  7. Woodblock and lino printmaking workshop

    Learn how to create multicolour or monochrome relief prints. You'll be encouraged to work from your own source imagery (sketches, magazine cuttings, photos etc) as an inspirational lead-in to producing relief prints to take home.

  8. T-shirt screenprinting in a day

    In this fun, 1-day workshop you will be taught how to print onto t-shirts, tote bags and other fabrics. Students will learn basic screenprinting techniques, including how to put your own designs onto screens, correct inks and printing methods and how to clean and prepare screens.

  9. Screenprinting studio projects

  10. Introduction to casting and mould making

    Break the mould - try your hand at the techniques of mould making and casting as practised by sculptors, prop-makers and designers. Under the guidance of highly experienced industry professional in our fully equipped sculpture studio, explore making plaster and rubber moulds. Then learn how to cast from them in plaster of Paris and cement.
