What is the course about?

Celtic Day is a day of lectures and short taster courses focusing on the different Celtic languages taught at City Lit — Cornish, Irish, Scottish Gaelic & Welsh.This 1 day pass gives you access to the different lectures and tasters taking place on the day. You will be able to attend up to 4 lectures and 2 tasters on the day.

The day will consist of 8 lectures and 4 taster courses. 2 sessions will run side-by-side throughout the day so you will be able to attend up to 4 lectures and 2 tasters.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

From the lectures:
- to discuss a variety of topics linked to the Celtic languages

From the tasters:
- basic greetings
- say your name
- order 3 drinks at a café.

There will be lectures with Q/A as well as short interactive language tasters.
