Exploring techniques to calm your body and mind and relieve stress.

What will we cover?

A variety of relaxation techniques.
The effects of stress and tension.
Calming the mind and body.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

Perform a variety of relaxation techniques.
Discover a sense of calm through breathing exercises.
Identify areas of tension in your body.
Demonstrate simple, self-massage techniques.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Beginners, no previous knowledge required.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Talk, instruction, demonstration, individual, pair and group work, experiential exercises.
