Develop a curiosity about The Unconscious, how it presents in your own life; in your own relationships, patterns and emotions, you may also develop a more symbolic attitude to how you interpret the world around you.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
The course is an intermediate-level course and is aimed at individuals who have some knowledge of the Psychodynamic theory, other professionals working in a helping role, as well as students who have completed a L1 Introduction to Counselling course.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Sessions will be a combination of theory and activities to encourage self-reflection. You will also be asked to complete a written review of 1,500 words reflecting on your learning, which will aid the tutor to assess the progress you have made.
You will receive regular feedback from the tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. You will also talk to the tutor about your level of understanding and suitability for next steps.

Please bring a pen and notepad. A reading list and bibliography will be provided.
