This short online revision course is perfect if you've recently completed around 6 months of Danish study and want to consolidate your learning. It's especially useful for continuing students who have previously studied Modules 1 and 2 with us. What will we cover?
We will look at:
- word-order in simple sentences and complex sentences. - noun class and adjectives (e.g. et stort hus, en stor by, store byer, store huse, det store by, den store by) - singular and plural nouns (e.g. hus, huset, et hus, huse) - choosing between infinitive (at arbejde) and present tense forms (arbejder ) - choosing between different forms of the past tense.
What will I achieve? By the end of this course you should be able to...
- confidently identify parts of speech in Danish (such as verbs, adverbs, pronouns and nouns) - identify which areas of basic grammar you need to continue working on and which you've mastered - conjugate regular verbs with increased accuracy - decline adjectives with increased accuracy - identify and correct errors in word-order - confidently change a statement into a question.
