What is the course about?
Since childhood we were reliant on others to meet our needs. Yet as we mature and become independent, many of us still carry this childhood desire that others should be available to do things in the way we want them and we get upset when they do not. We can even expect others to read our minds and know in advance what we need. This leads to unnecessary friction and unhappiness in relationships. This course will look at ways we can manager our lives in a happier way with less reliance on others to meet our mental and emotional desires.
This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone if you don't have a computer.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
To take full benefit of this course you need to be willing to engage in personal reflection and join in pair and group discussions.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
This course will include individual reflection, written exercises, video presentations, group discussion, individual and group exercises, as well as the input and experience of the tutor.
