What is the course about?

The early morning yoga course has been designed to awaken your body and mind slowly with a conscious warm up. Strongly recommended for those who feel achy in the morning, as it will help you to bring mobility back and boost stamina, preparing you for the day ahead. The course method is focused on joint articulation and emphasises on spine mobility

This is a live online course. You will need:
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook), or a tablet if you don't have a computer.
- Earphones/headphones/speakers.

What will we cover?

The course focuses on different yoga postures that support and improve spine/hip connections. We will practice different movements initiated in the hips and the impact along the spine.

What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...

By the end of this course you should be able to perform basic yoga postures applying the aforementioned mechanical movement principles. You will also recognise basic yoga postures and their names in English and Sanskrit. Our aim is to improve your mobility, posture and wellbeing.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Suitable for all.You do not need previous yoga experience for this course. In order to fill in the health and learning profile form and access course material, you would need to sign up for Google Classroom (instructions will be provided).

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

You will be taught by demonstration, observation, follow-me,correction, Q&As and practice.

Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and have something to keep you warm during relaxation. Postures are performed barefoot but you may wear non-slip socks if you prefer. You will be expected to have a mat for practicing, and occasionally a chair and a scarf (instead of yoga belt).

Carolina Sanchez M Yoga teacher-Massage therapist (Holistic Massage/Deep tissue) Carolina has BA in Dance, is a certified Yoga Teacher and Massage therapist. Has trained in somatic movement disciplines -among them Feldenkrais and Eutonia (both disciplines that teach how to observe movement and the comprehension of the human being). Also has trained in martial arts (Kalaripayattu/Indian martial art/ and Kung-Fu), Circus, physical theatre, acrobatics, and puppet and object theatre, among others. In 2001, Carolina was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga as part of her dance training. In 2009 she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she started to teach Yoga consistently, working with private clients and Gyms. Two years later moved to London. Since then she has been working with a diverse clientele from VIP clients in 5 stars hotels, charities, gyms, women's centres, to drug and alcohol services. The diverse experience has given her the insight to understand that every person has something particular and fascinating to work with. Carolina's Yoga classes focus on body mechanics, mobility, posture foundations and the intrinsic relation between hips and spine.
