Deaf english, maths & digital skills

Deaf English, Maths & Digital Skills

We offer both long, one-year courses and short courses. Most of these courses are taught in a classroom setting, face-to-face, in a group of deaf students with a tutor who is fluent in British Sign Language.

You'll learn in a supportive group, doing activities in pairs and small groups.

An interactive whiteboard, Google Classroom and a wide range of learning materials will be used to help your learning. Regular homework and opportunities for one-on-one tutorials with your tutor will help address your individual learning needs. Some courses are available online, for which you'll need a laptop or PC with a camera and a stable internet connection. Our English, Maths and Digital skills courses for deaf are offered at the following levels:

  • Level 1 & Level 2 (subject to demand)
  • Entry 3
  • Entry 2
  • Entry 1
  • Pre-Entry
