    Do you have questions about sentence structure and punctuation in your essays for college or university or in emails at work? Does the thought of grammar put you off the idea of teaching English as a foreign language? Are you a primary school teacher expected to correct your pupils' grammar when no one ever taught you? Have you had trouble learning a foreign language because you don’t understand the grammar of your own? If so, this course is for you.

    This course is FREE if you are employed (not self-employed) and earn less than £19,890. You need to have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years and be a citizen of the UK or a country within the EU. When you come for assessment or enrolment, bring a pay slip dated within 3 months of the course start date, or a current employment contract that shows your gross salary.

  2. Write with confidence (level 1 or above): improve your grammar and punctuation for everyday writing

    Course Date: Thu 4 Oct 2018 (and 1 other date)
    Location on this date: FRA - Fashion Retail Academy
    Would you like to be able to understand some of the errors you make when writing? Do you wish to write more succinctly, with correct punctuation, and use a wider variety of sentences?



    If you are not confident with your professional, academic or creative writing skills, then this course can help to improve your understanding of some key areas of punctuation and grammar. ‘Write with Confidence’ covers structure & sequence, punctuation, sentence types, active and passive voice, and adding variety to your writing.

    There will be opportunities to work on and proof read your own writing.
