We offer courses in ESOL, English, maths and digital skills. You can improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing and your computing and digital skills. We run courses from beginner to advanced – for those who can write only a few words to those who are going to university, for those who are new to computing to those ready for ECDL level 3.

  1. Improve your English with phonics (entry 1- 2)

    Do you need more help with your reading, writing, spelling? Do you find reading whole words difficult? Are you wondering how the sounds of words connect with how to write and spell them? This course will help you use phonics to develop your English. You will learn how to hear and identify the individual sounds which make up a word and then blend the sounds together form the whole word. By being able to relate sight and sound - written letters and the sounds associated with them - a whole new world will open up to you and you will start to feel confident that you can read words, spell them and use them.

  2. Improve your spelling (entry 3-level 1)

  3. Writing skills in practice: advanced (level 2+)

On this course, you will focus on how to structure different types of writing, organise your ideas and improve your vocabulary while focusing on difficulties typically faced by high level learners of English, such as tone and register.   10. Read well, write well (level 1-level 2)

    What are the different ways of pronouncing 'a'? Does 'for' always sound like 'four'? Is 't' always pronounced the same way?
