Financial modelling refers to the development of mathematical tools to simulate business scenarios as an aid to decision-making. Knowing lots of functions helps, but it is the application of these skills whilst also understanding the financial concepts that turns a glorified calculator into a valuable financial model.
This course will be delivered online or in person. See the ‘What is the course about?’ section in course details for more information.

What is the course about?

This course is about learning how to build a financial model in Excel from scratch through the valuation process of a given company. This will be illustrated by an application analysis of a publicly traded company. While this course will cover parts of Financial Statements Analysis, the focus will be on building the model in Excel.

Participants who will attend the full course will receive a City Lit certificate of attendance electronically for their CV or CPD records. The certificate will show your name, course title and dates of the course you have attended.

You can choose to attend this course either live online or in person.
- Internet connection. The classes work best with Chrome.
