What is the course about?

This course introduces the use of generative AI tools in programming, focusing on how these tools can assist and enhance your coding workflow. You will learn to integrate AI-driven solutions for code generation, debugging, and optimization, using popular tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Tabnine. The course builds on fundamental programming knowledge, specifically in Python, and offers practical experience in using these generative AI tools effectively.

You can choose to attend this course either live online or in person.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This course is at beginner to intermediate level, designed for those with fundamental programming knowledge, particularly in Python. A basic understanding of programming concepts is required, as the course will build on these skills to explore the use of generative AI tools.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

The course will be taught through interactive lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on coding sessions. All learning, including project work, will take place during class time, with no mandatory outside work.
