This course helps you improve your maths skills so you are ready to take the Functional Skills Maths Entry 3 qualification. You will practice everyday maths, including working with numbers, measurements, and simple data. The course will build your confidence in using maths in real life and prepare you for the next level.
You will have an assessment in Week 5 to check your progress. Your attendance and participation will also be considered to decide if you are ready to move on to the accredited course.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
This course is for learners who have some basic maths skills and want to get ready for Entry 3 Functional Skills Maths. You will take an initial assessment before starting the course.
