Location on this date: KS - Keeley StreetFilm noir describes a strange new mood of cynicism, darkness and disenchantment in American films during and shortly after WW2. Its popular success led to Laura (1944), Farewell My Lovely (1944) and The Postman Aways Rings Twice (1946).
