In this Artists Talk, Yvadney will share her artistic journey, how she roots her art practice in her working-class British Caribbean heritage creating moments of cultural joy and expression and recognition of its importance and significance to daily life.
Yvadney’s work has been shown in the Black Cultural Archives, the National Portrait Gallery and recently the 2025 winner of the NG Art Creative Residency x Galerie Heimat Art Prize.
In conversation with . . . is a collection of scheduled talks in collaboration with artists, designer/makers and contemporary creatives. Over the year, each guest speaker will present exciting visual lectures on various themes, points of discussion and debate around contemporary practice, as well as providing an insight in the creative industries.
