What is the course about?

Learners should already have:

  • Basic familiarity with posting content, Stories and Reels
  • Some understanding of social media marketing or business promotion

This course is not suitable for complete beginners to Instagram.

Learners should feel comfortable participating in discussion, analysing examples and using mobile apps independently during class activities.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

The course will be taught through a mixture of:

Lyndon began his film career working as a runner on several short films and features whilst writing for his own films. Following this, he wrote, produced and directed three successful short films in quick succession between 2003 and 2006. Since then Lyndon has been developing a number of feature films for his production company while working as a filmmaker, with his most recent short film The Verity featuring in a number of international film festivals. For over eighteen years Lyndon has been running a wide range of practical film courses aimed at beginners and professionals alike. His teaching style is very practical, “I try to make them as enjoyable as possible and hopefully the first thing the students would want to do after the course is make another film…”
