The course fee is £1599 payable at the time of your enrolment. If you are unable to pay the course fees, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the course fee, repayable after the course ends. Come and play string repertoire in a friendly group, and develop your confidence in ensemble playing. Suitable for those who have been playing violin, viola, cello or double bass for at least two years, playing at Grade 3 standard or above. To apply for the ensemble please click the pink 'Start your interview' button and someone from the music department will be in touch.

This is the third term in our beginners piano programme. If you have completed ‘Piano/keyboards 1B’ or have existing keyboard and music reading skills, this course will further develop your technique and musicianship.

This third year of our piano programme begins with repertoire of a grade 1 standard. Improve your technique, fluency of reading and playing, and exploring more complex rhythm patterns.

Can you play grade 1 standard pieces? Work on technique, fluency of reading and explore more complex rhythm patterns.

This is the second year of our beginners piano programme and repertoire will be of a pre-grade 1 standard. Improve your eye/hand coordination, your reading and finger technique.

If you can play a range of chord shapes, in time, and can follow chord symbols, this second year of guitar study will develop your ability to play the acoustic instrument. Improve your musicianship and expand your song repertoire.

This is the second year of our beginners piano programme and repertoire will be of a pre-grade 1 standard. Improve your eye/hand coordination, your reading and finger technique.

Welcome to the third year of drum class: work to improve your coordinated independence and application of rudiments to the kit. Includes reading drum notation.

For experienced and able players here is our advanced level class for contemporary guitar study. Live sessions on Zoom.
