Learn all the stages of film making from initial pre- production planning through to post production editing. Whatever genre interests you, this course will give you the essential skills to realise your own movie.

Have you passed your BSL level 1 and are you ready for a level 2 course? Build your skills and knowledge and achieve a level 2 qualification, accredited by Signature.

This course is ideal if you have some bookbinding conservation experience and want to develop your skills further by working on your own projects with advice and guidance. Each term will include demonstrations that focus on a different aspect of book conservation.

Get inspired by trying carving techniques in wood or stone and create your own small carving. Suitable for anyone from beginners to experienced carvers. This course will explore the characteristics of wood and stone, lead you through the steps of design and carving, encourage you to explore and develop your ideas, and try more experimental techniques.

The head is the focal point of each person; create a portrait that examines both the structure as well as the emotion of the model.

Have you ever fancied having a go at sculpting in wood? Or perhaps you are experienced at it but would like expert guidance to develop your ideas? This comprehensive course encourages wood carvers of all levels to bring along their ideas and see how they can be developed. You will be taught how to make models of your designs, upscale and transpose them, and use professional carving tools to produce beautiful pieces in wood.

The Application Process for this course opens on Thursday 26th December 2024 and closes at 12 noon on 20th March 2025. Please ensure you have completed and submitted your application before the closing date as you will be unable to submit your application after this date.







If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to a Skills Assessment which will be held on Saturday 5th April 2025.







If you pass the Skills Assessment, you will be invited to an Individual Interview which will be held on Saturday 12th April 2025.







Do you want to develop counselling skills for paid or voluntary work? This course includes occasional weekend sessions which you will be required to join and one compulsory residential trip away.







In order to apply for this course, please ensure that:



• you have (or will have) completed an in person introductory counselling course of 30 hours, with an attendance record of at least 80% (within the last three years)



OR



• you have completed an in person introductory counselling course of 30 hours with an attendance record of at least 70%



AND



• you have completed an in person ‘Counselling introduction: advanced’ course (or equivalent) with an attendance record of at least 80% (within the last three years)



• you are able to speak and write fluently in English (level 2/GCSE).

The Free Courses for Jobs initiative is for Londoners aged 24 or over at the start of the course who are: on a low-income; or on certain benefits; or do not have a full level 3 qualification. For more information Click here

This year-long advanced course is aimed at artist-printmakers who wish to develop a sustainable personal practice through the medium of print. With the support of expert tutors, you will be guided through experimental, practice-based research and developmental tasks that challenge your preconceptions of print media including etching, screen-printing, lithography and relief. You will eventually focus on a longer projects that encourage both a personal enquiry and the development of an individual methodology.
