What is the course about?
This course aims to further increase your confidence by consolidating previous knowledge and practising a wider variety of everyday life situations.
What will we cover?
Topics: routine; shopping for food; working hours; talking about your family; likes and dislikes
Grammar: direct pronouns; reflexive verbs; adverbs of frequency; possessives; introduction of the past tense.
What will I achieve?
By the end of this course you should be able to...
-shop for food
-talk about a typical day
-talk about working hours
-describe and buy clothes
-talk about what you did at the weekend.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

You will also need to be able to understand basic spoken and written information in English (e.g. simple instructions, course documents) and be at ease with the use of numbers for daily activities (e.g. using money, telling the time etc).
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
Communicative/functional approach with emphasis on listening and speaking activities; pair/group work, role plays; audiovisuals; OHP; flash cards and games; some grammar exercises and homework will be set.

Italian 2 lower: module 1 in September.
