What is the course about?

Gain a practical understanding of Japanese culture and etiquette so you can navigate social situations with ease-from dining and shopping to visiting temples and making enquiries.

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

Open to all levels-no prior knowledge of Japanese required. You’ll learn some useful expressions and need basic English reading skills and comfort with numbers for daily activities.

How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?

Expect an interactive workshop with pair work, group activities, role plays, and games. We’ll use handouts, audio-visual materials, and presentations.
