Do you already have a number of administration skills, and looking to become a personal assistant? Do you work as a PA but need clarity about the role and some skills to do your job more effectively? On this course you will focus on the fundamentals of being a good PA, including understanding what should and should not be expected of you. You will focus on maintaining office systems and organising files including shared drives. You will work on how to deal efficiently with incoming emails and staying on top of information, including prioritising your tasks. You will practise screening enquiries and requests, organising meetings efficiently and maintaining diaries, taking minutes effectively and understanding your relationship with your employer. Finding, researching and evaluating information online is an essential skill inside and outside of work - whether you are using your computer, smartphone, CHATGPT or digital assistances. On this course you will learn research and problem-solving skills on different devices.
