Learn all the stages of film making from initial pre- production planning through to post production editing. Whatever genre interests you, this course will give you the essential skills to realise your own movie.

Consolidate your upper intermediate level of French in this lively and interactive class. You will consolidate and further practise the main topics and grammar points studied on a level 3 upper course, through a variety of speaking and listening activities. The course is suitable if you are attending a level 3 upper course or if you have an equivalent level of French.

How did the working classes adapt to the social changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution? Shifting demographics, the rise of industry, child labour and the role of women in the industrial sphere are all themes that we will explore on this course, together with public protests against wages and living conditions.

Learn picture framing and mounting skills for the home or workplace. Using professional framing tools and equipment you'll be taught all the skills you need to work in a busy studio or alternatively how to set up your own small scale practice from home.

The emphasis is on the practical use of German and the development of your speaking and listening skills. Based on chapters 1-4 of Willkommen (Hodder Arnold). 1.5 hours per week over 7 weeks.

Are you new to podcasting? Would you like to start podcasting but unsure you have the communication skills? Or are you looking to improve your general speaking skills? This course will provide you with the skills you need. You will work on the key features needed to sound fluent and engaging. You will practise how to reduce your hesitations, sounding natural while also being controlled. You will develop techniques for changing and adapting your volume, tone, pitch and pace as well as breathing and pausing. You will work on how to prepare for speaking on a public platform whether through questioning or longer monologues and on how to create suitable scripts. Whether you are wanting to become a professional podcaster, produce family podcasts or simply improve your overall communication skills, this course will provide you with the tools you need.

Would you like to add some stillness to your existing chi kung practice?



At this workshop we will follow the support cycle of the five elements earth, metal, water, wood and fire. We will slow down and connect to stillness, become more grounded, centred and relaxed, get a better energy flow and become more aware of ourselves, others and our surroundings. We will also do some standing and sitting meditation.
